Oulu - the Home of Radio is one of Nokia's key locations with over 40 years' experience. The Oulu site combines radio research, development and manufacturing under the same roof in a very unique way, and is one of the leading radio research hot spots in the world. Oulu site benefits from the surrounding radio ecosystem in trialing the latest technologies and solutions with the customers, and cooperates actively with the University of Oulu. Current focus for Oulu site is 5G including e.g. 5GPP standardization, System-on-Chips, new 5G radio products HW and SW as well as verification and manufacturability.
