Alif Semiconductor was founded with the vision to address the rapidly growing market need for scalable and secure AI-enabled 32-bit microcontrollers that are genuinely power efficient.

This need led to Alif Semiconductor’s creation of a new class of embedded microcontrollers, or fusion processors, that enable seamless integration of technology for everyday life by unlocking innovative low-power techniques, unparalleled functional integration, accelerated artificial intelligence & machine learning edge processing, high security, and operating system diversity.

Alif Semiconductor is headquartered in the US with two sites in California. Other Alif locations are India, Singapore and Finland.

Alif established its first European R&D site to Oulu with the vision to build a center of expertise to complement the staff in the US and India. The office is located in the Technology park and currently employs about 35 people in digital IC design, Software Development and Application Engineering.

The local Finnish team consists of very experienced experts as well as young talents ready to grow in their careers. The culture is open, supportive, and relaxed and the staff enjoys coming to the office and collaborating with one another.
