Teollisuuden Voima Oyj (TVO) is a Finnish nuclear power company founded in 1969. TVO produces electricity to the Finnish society in a safe and reliable manner.

TVO's majority shareholder is Pohjolan Voima Oy with its share of 58.5% of the TVO stock. Teollisuuden Voima Oyj is a joint venture of Pohjolan Voima and several other companies.

TVO Group includes Teollisuuden Voima's subsidiary TVO Nuclear Services Oy (TVONS) and the nuclear waste management company Posiva Oy. Posiva Oy is jointly owned by TVO and Fortum. TVO' s shareholding of Posiva is 60 percent.

Posiva Oy is an expert organisation responsible for the final disposal of spent nuclear fuel of the owners. Posiva has been established in 1995. Posiva Solutions focuses on the sales of the know-how Posiva has accumulated from its design, research and development activities in the final disposal of spent nuclear fuel, as well as on associated consulting services.

In 2015, the nuclear electricity produced by TVO in Olkiluoto accounted for about one sixth of the electricity consumed in Finland. The clean energy production contributes to the reduction of the global environmental impact.

During their 38 years of operation, the Olkiluoto plant units have produced a total of 450 billion kWh of climate-friendly electricity. Every year, the nuclear power produced at Olkiluoto helps prevent approximately 12 million tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions in Finland compared to producing the same amount of electricity using coal. The saved amount corresponds to the total annual CO2 emissions of all road traffic in Finland.

Through its direct owners, TVO's nuclear electricity brings well-being to 135 municipalities. These municipalities are shareholders in more than 50 energy companies that serve as a route for distributing electricity from Olkiluoto throughout Finland.
